Ship Real Automation with Fairino Cobots
Jump into hands-on projects that go from sketch to shop floor. As a Devonics intern, you’ll work with Fairino cobots (FR3–FR35), vision systems, EOAT, and our no-code Smart Tool—building real solutions for manufacturing, labs, and logistics.

What You'll Do
-
Teach points and record paths on FR cobots using our Smart Tool and WebAPP.
-
Integrate grippers, vacuum, torque sensors; tune picks and force-controlled moves.
-
Build quick fixtures, test layouts, and document setups with clean drawings/checklists.
-
Help run demos for pick & place, palletizing, machine tending, or finishing.
-
(Optional) Write simple utilities to speed testing and data capture.
Who Should Apply

Students in ME/EE/Robotics/CS/ (or equivalent experience).

Comfortable around tools, multimeters, and test rigs; curious and hands-on.

Able to explain your work simply—docs matter as much as code or CAD.

Applications Engineering: cycle-time studies, path teaching, vision checks, EOAT selection.

Robotics Integration: mounting, wiring, I/O bring-up, safety validation, FAT/SAT support.

Software & HMI: recipe UIs, I/O mapping tools, light scripting, test automation.

Content & GTM: product pages, case studies, demo videos, event prep.
What You'll Learn
-
Cobot safety & risk basics (ISO/TS principles), good wiring, tidy cells.
-
Vision fundamentals (presence/absence, ID, simple gauging) and lighting choices.
-
EOAT tradeoffs (finger vs. vacuum vs. soft) and quick-change tooling.
-
How to present results—clear plots, short videos, and crisp summaries.

Location: San Diego, CA (HQ). Hybrid options for select roles.

Term: 10–14 weeks (Summer/Fall/Spring).

Time: Full-time preferred; part-time considered during the semester.

Comp: Competitive hourly pay; travel support for installs/shows when applicable.

Equipment: Lab access, cobots, vision kits, fixtures, and measurement tools provided.
